Job summary

Veranova is seeking an Industrial Hygienist to lead our site IH/OH program, protecting employees from chemical, physical, and ergonomic hazards in manufacturing and lab settings. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 4+ years of Industrial/OH hygiene experience in an industrial setting; pharma exp preferred.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence cross-functional teams and train staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead the IH/OH program to protect employee health in manufacturing and lab environments.
• Conduct hazard assessments and characterize risks from chemicals, noise, temperature, and other exposures.
• Develop and manage exposure monitoring programs and analyze data to recommend controls.
• Evaluate and implement engineering and administrative controls and PPE to minimize exposure.
• Lead ergonomics program assessments and implement risk-reducing solutions.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations, standards, and company policies; support audits.
