Job summary

Veranova is seeking an Industrial Hygienist to lead and manage the IH program at our West Deptford, NJ site. The role focuses on revitalizing the occupational health program, leading the site ergonomics team, and providing EHS support to laboratory groups, blending IH and general safety to foster regulatory excellence.

The successful candidate will have a BS in IH or related field (CIH preferred), 5–10 years of pharmaceutical/biotech IH experience, ability to travel 15%, and readiness to work

Qualifications

• BS in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
• 5–10 years in pharmaceutical/biotech IH experience or equivalent.
• CIH preferred.
• Up to 15% travel including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and improve the site's Industrial Hygiene program.
• Conduct risk assessments for potent compounds and hazardous materials.
• Develop IH monitoring plan and perform exposure monitoring.
• Evaluate and implement engineering/administrative controls and PPE.
• Analyze exposure data and report trends to management.
• Lead the site ergonomics program.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA) and support inspections.
• Develop and deliver IH training programs.
