Job summary

United States Cold Storage, Inc. in Lebanon, IN is seeking an Operations Industrial Engineer Supervisor to develop engineered labor standards for the LMS and lead work measurement studies in our warehouses.

You will design labor standards, oversee process improvements, train staff on methods, and present solutions to upper management while ensuring data integrity in the LMS and driving productivity and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or better.
• Ability to travel throughout the year up to or greater than 50%.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Knowledge of labor standards (MOST or MSD preferred).
• Ability to lead and manage projects independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update engineered labor standards for warehouse roles.
• Maintain map and work elements in the labor management system.
• Monitor LMS to ensure performance and data integrity.
• Train employees on preferred methods and direct task completion.
• Lead continuous improvement strategies with CI manager.
• Manage indirect time of warehouse employees.
• Ensure facility design and racking layouts support operations.
• Develop and implement process changes with measurable value.
• Document quality issues and determine root causes.
• Develop metrics to ensure process compliance and apply corrective actions.
• Prepare instructional classes on labor standards and process changes.
• Audit incentive programs for measurement accuracy.
• Assist in budgets and ROI analysis for warehouses.
• Lead project initiatives and address other duties as assigned.
