Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking an Industrial Engineer to support the engineered labor standards program across our DC network. You will develop standards for distribution functions, study processes, and train management and staff in proper methods to sustain productivity.

Responsibilities include evaluating facility layouts, implementing improvements, and testing Labor Management System solutions. This role requires up to 75% travel and practical collaboration with unions where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related quantitative discipline required.
• Specialized knowledge in Warehouse/Operations Management, Time Studies, Process Planning/Optimization, Data Mining, Data Analysis, Data Visualization
• Proficiency with Labor Management Systems, Warehouse Management Systems, Excel, and SQL Developer
• Experience with stopwatch studies, work sampling, MTM/MOST methods is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain engineered labor standards for distribution functions across C&S facilities (warehousing, transportation).
• Study current processes, assess effectiveness, and propose improvements.
• Train DC management and hourly staff on methods to sustain productivity.
• Engage associates using change-management to ensure understanding of standards.
• Develop/layout changes to boost productivity and efficiency; provide cost savings analysis.
• Test labor improvements in EXE, Red Prairie, and other LMS.
• Travel required up to 75%.
