Job summary

Compal USA Technology seeks a Senior Industrial Engineer to design, scale, and optimize manufacturing systems for AI servers, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise technology. You will own factory capacity, line design, labor optimization, material flow, and NPI readiness in a fast-paced high-volume environment.

The role requires 7+ years of IE experience, strong lean/ Six Sigma expertise, and hands-on leadership in line balancing, takt-time analysis, and capacity modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of Industrial Engineering experience in high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience owning factory layout, capacity planning, line balancing, labor modeling, and productivity improvements.
• Strong experience supporting NPI, production ramp, and high-volume manufacturing.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience developing engineered labor standards using MOST, MTM, or time-study methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and optimization of factory layouts, production lines, work cells, and material flow.
• Develop capacity models to support forecasts, demand changes, and ramp plans.
• Own line balancing, takt-time analysis, headcount modeling, and labor optimization.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive data-driven initiatives to improve UPH, cycle time, utilization, and productivity.
• Lead IE activities for NPI and transition to high-volume manufacturing.
• Determine headcount, equipment, floor space, workstation, and material-flow requirements for new/expanded lines.
• Establish engineered labor standards using MOST/MTM or time studies.
