Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to lead our Industrial Engineering team across multiple regions and offices. You will support high-value Advanced Manufacturing and Industrial projects, embedding Lean thinking and best practices while developing client relationships and winning work.

Expect travel across the US and internationally as needed, with a focus on delivering complex, high-impact optimization programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field with 8+ years of experience or equivalent.
US citizenship is required for this role.
Preferred: Master’s degree and 15 years total industry experience with 3–5 years in a similar position.

Responsibilities

Lead process optimization projects across industrial sectors and offices.
Develop data-driven insights and translate them into practical solutions.
Manage multiple workstreams with quality, cost, and schedule discipline.
Apply Lean, Six Sigma and industrial engineering methods to improve client operations.
Build and maintain strong client and internal stakeholder relationships.
Support business development through proposals and thought leadership.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the firm.
Contribute to development of best practices and standards.
Travel across the United States and internationally as needed.
