Job summary

AECOM is recruiting a Senior Industrial Engineer to lead our Industrial Engineering team across multiple regions and offices. You will develop process optimization capabilities and deliver high-impact projects, embedding Lean thinking throughout delivery.

You will work with Market Sector Leaders and clients to drive value, while developing relationships and business opportunities across federal and commercial sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or related discipline plus 8 years of related experience.
• United States Citizenship is required for this role.
• Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree may be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage the development of value propositions for process optimization and industrial advisory services.
• Develop data-driven insights and translate them into practical, deliverable solutions.
• Manage and deliver projects and workstreams to quality, cost and schedule.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma and industrial engineering techniques to analyze and improve client operations.
• Build effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to business development activities, including proposals and thought leadership.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across AECOM.
• Contribute to best-practice methods and standards development.
• Support capability development through coaching, mentoring and knowledge sharing.
• This role will include travel across the United States, as well as internationally as needed.
