Job summary

Prattwhitney is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer for its Manchester, Iowa manufacturing facility. This role involves planning, designing, and executing activities related to the creation of RTX products and operations at RTX facilities.

The ideal candidate will evaluate manufacturing problems and develop engineering solutions while ensuring compliance with Lean Manufacturing principles. A University Degree with 2+ years of experience is preferred, and citizenship is required for access to specific systems.

Qualifications

• Normally requires a University Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
• U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical interpretation of drawings and specifications for products.
• Plan the sequence of operations and standard work documentation.
• Create and maintain Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA).
• Analyze and develop justification for capital equipment.
