Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to work onsite in Manchester, Iowa. The ideal candidate will plan and execute manufacturing activities related to the creation of RTX products, solve manufacturing problems, and ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities include interpreting technical drawings, creating documentation, leading production improvements, and analyzing performance metrics. A University Degree and relevant experience are necessary for this role, along with expertise in manufacturing tools and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience may be obtained through job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
• U.S. Person eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical interpretation of drawings and specifications for products.
• Plan sequence of operations, procedures, and standard work documentation.
• Create and maintain Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA).
• Recommend engineering solutions for design problems.
• Support evaluation of production and design changes.
• Conduct analysis for capital equipment justification.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suites

Experience with SolidWorks

Experience with 3D Printing

Experience with SAP, Excel & Data Analysis
