Job summary
Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation is seeking an Industrial Engineer to lead manufacturing process improvements aligned with our Lean/Continuous Improvement system. You will optimize product flow, lead equipment implementation, and collaborate with Product Engineering to enhance throughput and quality.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, and 7+ years of experience with lean manufacturing and CAD tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Manufacturing Technology required; Master's preferred.
- Lean manufacturing and quality management principles knowledge preferred.
- 7+ years of work experience preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD, SolidWorks preferred.
- Experience with Lean and Six Sigma implementations.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex manufacturing process improvement projects to increase quality and throughput.
- Redesign manufacturing areas, tooling, and fixturing for lean flow.
- Collaborate with Product Engineering to optimize product design for manufacturability.
- Provide ROI analyses for capital expenditures and safety guidance on projects.
- Mentor engineers and technicians on continuous improvement initiatives.
