Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in manufacturing environment with data analysis.
• Proficiency in reading quality documents, BOMs, and drawings.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and World Class Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead the ECN/ECR process as Manufacturing Engineering Lead.
• Direct creation, execution, and upkeep of manufacturing operation routings.
• Establish Direct Labor Standards and Standard Data through engineering analysis for cost reduction and ergonomics.
• Evaluate production processes to identify inefficiencies via data analysis and time studies.
• Assist with new product line workstation development and MTM documentation.
• Conduct plant layout designs and workflow analyses to enhance product flow.
• Optimize capacity and minimize expenses through line balancing across processes.
• Forecast process capacity and determine capital investments for growth.
• Prepare resource requirements and cost estimates to launch new processes or products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet goals and provide technical direction.
• Develop and defend Appropriation Requests for capital initiatives; track budgets and results.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers with technical guidance.
