Acushnet Company is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to optimize manufacturing and distribution on the East Coast, driving efficiency, labor utilization, and continuous improvement.

The role leads equipment installation, layout optimization, and capacity modeling for global golf ball production, delivering cost savings and scalable processes. A 5+ year IE background and strong data analysis are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related Engineering discipline required.
• Minimum of 5 years of Industrial Engineering experience.
• Proficient in the use of computers and engineering software.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, crawl, and climb for extended periods as needed.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with facility layout design and optimization.
• Strong knowledge of capacity planning and capacity analysis.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing, process simplification, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Cost analysis, modeling, and operational efficiency assessment skills.
• Expertise in line balancing, staffing analysis, and work cell/workstation design.
• Experience conducting time studies and applying work measurement techniques.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and production simulation methods.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Understanding of ergonomics, human factors, and workplace safety principles.
• Analytical problem-solving skills with a focus on driving productivity, quality, and cost improvements.

Responsibilities

• Optimize production processes, facility layouts, material handling systems, and labor utilization across operations.
• Lead projects involving equipment installation, relocation, and workflow redesign.
• Develop labor and capacity models for global golf ball manufacturing.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, productivity gains, and operational improvements.
