Acushnet Company is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to advance manufacturing and distribution excellence on the East Coast. You will lead projects in equipment installation, layout optimization, and labor utilization to drive cost reductions and productivity gains.

With a strong background in Industrial Engineering and Lean practices, you will apply time studies, capacity analyses, and statistical methods to deliver safe, efficient, and scalable operations that support long-term growth for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of Industrial Engineering experience.
• Proficient in computers and engineering software.
• Experience with facility layout design and optimization.
• Strong knowledge of capacity planning and capacity analysis.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing, process simplification, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Cost analysis, modeling, and operational efficiency assessment skills.
• Expertise in line balancing, staffing analysis, and work cell/workstation design.
• Experience conducting time studies and applying work measurement techniques.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and production simulation methods.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Understanding of ergonomic, human factors, and workplace safety principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to optimize production processes, layouts, and labor utilization across East Coast manufacturing and distribution teams.
• Drive efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement in operations through data-driven analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
• Develop labor and capacity models for global golf ball manufacturing and identify opportunities for cost reduction and productivity gains.
• Manage equipment installation, relocation, and workflow redesign initiatives.
• Support safe, scalable operations aligned with long-term business growth.
