Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to join Corporate Continual Improvement & Lean Six Sigma. The role focuses on the Distribution team, driving end-to-end supply chain improvements and standardization across the network.

You will analyze labor utilization, layouts, and processes; develop engineered labor standards; lead cross-functional projects; and partner with corporate and external resources to deliver measurable cost savings and service improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field.
• 5+ years' experience in engineering support in a retail, manufacturing, or comparable environment.
• Requires Six Sigma and Lean tools/methodologies and Distribution experience.
• Experience in projects related to process design, work measurement, productivity improvement, cost reduction and project implementation.

Responsibilities

• Continuous Improvement: Drives initiatives to improve processes, procedures, and tools across the organization using Lean/Six Sigma principles.
• Project Administration: Manages medium to large cross-functional projects with high complexity and impact.
• Engineered Labor Standards: Establishes and maintains labor standards and guides Labor Management across the network.
• Business Intelligence: Transforms data into decision-ready information and delivers analytics to the right stakeholders.
• Reporting: Develops and stabilizes reporting platforms and metrics for leadership.
