Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Sr. Industrial Engineer to join Corporate Continual Improvement & Lean Six Sigma, focusing on distribution-wide standardization and waste reduction.

You will apply Lean, Six Sigma, and data analytics to improve costs, service levels, and productivity across the end-to-end supply chain. You will lead labor standards development, time studies, and engineered work methods while collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver scalable improvements

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in engineering support in retail, manufacturing, or equivalent.
• Six Sigma and Lean tools/methodologies with distribution experience.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to and executes Continuous Improvement initiatives across distribution operations.
• Leads cross-functional projects with high complexity and impact.
• Establishes engineered labor standards and monitors performance for fairness and accuracy.
• Develops and maintains reporting metrics, dashboards and data visualizations.
• Travel up to 50% and collaborate with IT and operations to standardize systems.
