Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking an Industrial Engineer to support the Industrial Engineering Team and the Engineered Labor Standards program across the network. You will engage in process engineering, data collection and analysis, and training for DC management and hourly staff.

The role requires 75% travel to facilities, developing and maintaining labor standards, optimizing layouts, and delivering cost savings through improved productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related quantitative discipline.
• Experience with Red Prairie and EXE Labor Management Systems.
• Strong data mining, analysis, and visualization skills.
• Experience with time studies and MTM/MOST methods.
• Flexibility to travel 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain engineered labor standards for distribution facilities (warehousing, transportation, and related departments).
• Study and analyze current processes; determine effectiveness and propose improvements.
• Train DC management, supervision, and hourly staff in proper methods to ensure productivity.
• Engage with associates to present labor standards and drive change across all levels.
