Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking an Industrial Engineer to support the Industrial Engineering Team and the Engineered Labor Standards program across the network. The role involves process engineering, data collection and analysis, and training for DC management and hourly staff to sustain productivity.

Responsibilities include developing labor standards, evaluating layouts, and testing improvements in Labor Management Systems, with substantial travel to multiple facilities nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related quantitative discipline.
• Experience with labor standards, time studies, and process optimization.
• Familiarity with labor management and warehouse systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain engineered labor standards for distribution functions.
• Study and analyze current processes and recommend improvements.
• Train DC management and hourly staff in methods and procedures.
• Present engineering labor standards and drive change across facilities.
• Develop facility layouts to boost productivity and efficiency.
• Provide cost savings evidence from layout changes and other duties.
• Test labor improvements in EXE, Red Prairie, and other systems.
• Travel required: 75%.
