Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician IV to join our operations & maintenance team in Albuquerque, NM. The role focuses on advanced electrical and control systems for HVAC, CNC production equipment, conveyors, cranes, and related systems.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, PLC programming, implementing safety procedures, and mentoring junior staff. Qualified candidates will have extensive experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and other PLC platforms, plus strong NEC

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Five years of electrical maintenance experience in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

Safely performs electrical maintenance from 24 V to 480 V AC on equipment and control circuits.
Diagnoses, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs electrical equipment and PLCs/ladder logic.
Calibrates instrumentation and controls for optimum performance.
Works with 480 V systems and VFDs; develops and documents solutions for manufacturing problems.
Mentors less skilled technicians and communicates with management and customers.
Performs preventive maintenance and uses CMMS to track activities.
Ensures NEC compliance and safety guidelines; may travel to client locations.
