Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician IV to join our operations and maintenance team, focusing on electrical and controls needs for HVAC units, CNC production equipment, conveyors, motors, lighting, and control circuits up to 480V.

You will program ladder logic PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE, Wago, MicroLogix, ControlLogix, PLC-5), calibrate instrumentation, mentor junior techs, and ensure safety, NEC compliance, and CMMS preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Five years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
Ability to work in aerial lift or scissor lift up to 30 feet.
Medium voltage experience with required safety training.
May require additional state licensing.

Responsibilities

Safely performs functions following safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
Diagnoses, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs electrical equipment and control circuits up to 480V AC.
Calibrates instrumentation and controls for optimum performance.
Procures parts from OEMs or vendors.
Assures work conforms to NEC guidelines.
Uses building automation system to monitor conditions.
Performs preventive maintenance in CMMS.
Responds to work orders and communicates with customers.
Recommends improvements to maintenance methods.
