Stelvio Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer to lead rugged, AI-powered hardware systems from concept to production.

You will architect industrial edge computing solutions, embedded electronics, sensor and camera integrations, designed to operate reliably in extreme environments. Collaborating with software and AI teams, you will prototype, test, and deploy hardware that delivers measurable real-world impact, while supporting on-site deployments and continuous product

Qualifications

Experience in hardware engineering, embedded systems, PCB design, or robotics.
Hands-on knowledge of industrial communication protocols (CAN, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Serial).
Experience integrating sensors, vision systems, and edge computing platforms like NVIDIA Jetson.
Track record of delivering hardware products to real-world environments.
Ability to work autonomously and move quickly from concept to deployment.

Responsibilities

Design and develop industrial hardware and edge computing platforms.
Build and integrate custom electronics, sensors, cameras, and networking hardware.
Develop embedded software/firmware (C, C++, Rust or Python).
Prototype, test, and optimise hardware for reliability in harsh environments.
Support on-site deployments, troubleshooting, and continuous product improvements.
