Job summary

AMBROSE-SERVICES-LLC is seeking a Development Manager to execute land development, vertical construction projects, and support acquisitions and dispositions. The role collaborates with the development VP and team to ensure perfect execution of speculative and build-to-suit industrial and logistics projects.

Responsibilities include identifying land opportunities, coordinating due diligence with consultants, budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating entitlements, design, and construction efforts

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, finance, and / or real estate.
• 5+ years in commercial real estate development field. Industrial, ecommerce or data center development preferred.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, writing and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and budgets.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to anticipate and mitigate development risks.
• Knowledge of entitlement and municipal approval process.

Responsibilities

• Land: Identification, due diligence, underwriting and acquisition of strategic land positions.
• Oversight of consultants for due diligence including survey, geotechnical review, environmental, legal, zoning, permitting, etc.
• Development: Oversight of third-party preconstruction and design personnel.
• Construction: Manage general contractor selection process and contract negotiation.
• Asset Management: Assist in the acquisition and disposition process primarily in due diligence matters.
