Job summary

Ambrose is seeking a Development Manager to execute land development, oversee vertical construction projects, and support acquisitions and dispositions within a fast-growing industrial/logistics portfolio. You will work closely with the development VP and team to ensure flawless execution of speculative and build-to-suit projects.

The role emphasizes land due diligence, budgeting, design coordination, and adherence to schedules while mitigating risks across all development phases.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, finance, and/or real estate.
• 5+ years in commercial real estate development, industrial/ecommerce/data center preferred.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, writing and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and budgets.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Identify land, conduct due diligence, underwriting, and acquire strategic land positions.
• Oversee consultants for due diligence including surveys, geotechnical, environmental, zoning, permitting.
• Lead design development, preconstruction budgets, and schedule monitoring.
• Coordinate construction bids, contract negotiations, and change order risk mitigation.
• Support RFP responses, lease negotiations, and turnover to management.
