Job summary

Stoughton Trailers, LLC in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Maintenance/Automation Technician to ensure production equipment and facilities run reliably. You will respond to emergencies and preventive maintenance, work with CNCs, robotics, pumps, welders, presses, conveyors, and HVAC systems, and manage PLC/HMI programs and electrical drawings.

The role requires 2-year degree in automation or related field and 8+ years of automation/controls experience; NFPA 70E is required, OSHA preferred.

Qualifications

2-year degree in automation, robotics, controls, electrical, or any relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent industrial automation controls experience.
8+ years of experience in automation, robotics, and controls.
NFPA 70E Certification required; OSHA Certification preferred.
Ability to read electrical schematics and modify PLC/HMI programs.

Responsibilities

Respond to emergencies and perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facilities.
Maintain and modify PLC/HMI programs and electrical drawings.
Troubleshoot complex automation, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Coordinate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve OEE, safety, quality, and productivity.
Assist in diagnosing, locating, and repairing complex equipment breakdowns.
