Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a Project Manager for industrial construction in Westerville, OH. You will direct projects ranging from water/wastewater facilities to production plants, overseeing engineers, superintendents, and foremen to meet scope, schedule, and budget.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and 10+ years of experience in construction, design, finance, and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• PE credentialing is not required but is a strong plus.
• 10+ years’ experience/knowledge of construction, design, finance, and management.
• Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate construction activities for industrial projects.
• Establish objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards.
• Assign duties and responsibilities to project staff and define authority.
• Direct and coordinate activities to ensure work progresses on schedule and within budget.
• Review proposals and plans for timeframe, funding, and resources.
• Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed; prepare reports for management and clients.
• Coordinate with governmental agencies and subcontractors; ensure CPM schedules are executed.
• Lead and participate in daily field coordination meetings and safety kickoff meetings.
• Mentor and develop junior team members; support supervisor’s direction.
