Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate construction activities for a range of industrial projects in the Columbus area. You will lead Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Foremen to ensure work progresses on schedule and within budget.

The role requires a Civil Engineering or Construction Management background, 10+ years of experience, and the ability to manage client liaison, staffing, and project profitability while mentoring team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management required.
• PE credentialing not required but a strong plus.
• 10+ years’ experience/knowledge of construction, design, finance, and management required.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain liaison with prime client to facilitate construction activities.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within corporate policy.
• Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure work progresses on schedule and within budget.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts and responsible for project profit or loss.
• Lead project team in daily field coordination meeting, weekly block schedule meeting and monthly safety kickoff meeting.
• Mentor and assist with career development of other team members.
