Job summary

Systematic Business Consulting seeks a Project Manager to lead custom-engineered equipment projects from quotation through installation and completion. The role involves coordinating sales, engineering, purchasing, fabrication, vendors, subcontractors, and customers to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of project management or related industrial experience, with strong reading of technical drawings and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management, project coordination, estimating, construction, engineering support, or related industrial experience.
• Experience with material handling equipment, industrial equipment, overhead cranes, hoists, fabrication, structural steel, electrical, or mechanical systems is REQUIRED.
• Ability to read technical drawings and equipment specifications.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project/ERP software.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects from order entry through closeout
• Support outside sales with proposals, pricing, scopes, and technical information
• Coordinate sales, engineering, purchasing, fabrication, vendors, subcontractors, and customers
• Develop schedules, track materials and long-lead items, and monitor project costsCoordinate engineering approvals, installation schedules, site requirements, and project closeout
• Identify and resolve technical, scheduling, cost, and supply-chain issues
