Job summary

Equipment & Controls, Inc. in Lawrence, PA is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex industrial automation projects, from proposal through startup and closeout. You will own scope, schedule, cost, and risk while guiding cross-functional teams to deliver on promises.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in project management within process industries, a bachelor's in engineering, PMP or equivalent, and strong communication skills to manage customers and vendors across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of progressive project-management experience.
• Experience leading projects in process manufacturing, industrial automation, controls, instrumentation, or related engineering/manufacturing environments.
• Experience managing projects through engineering, procurement, fabrication/integration, FAT, site execution, commissioning, startup, closeout.
• Direct accountability for scope, schedule, budget, risk, change management, and customer communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent industrial automation projects from kickoff through closeout.
• Establish execution strategy, governance, milestones, deliverables, and decision structure.
• Serve as primary customer-facing project leader and manage relationships with customers, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Own the integrated project schedule and coordinate engineering, procurement, fabrication, testing, installation, commissioning, and startup.
