Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience, including 5 years as a people-manager.
• 2 years of experience must be in either Aerospace, Defense, or another highly regulated industry
• Excellent coaching skills and examples of success
• Very strong analytical skills, including cost and price analysis techniques
• A complex problem-solver who works independently and in cross-functional teams
• Experience developing and managing to KPIs
• High emotional intelligence

Responsibilities

• Manages indirect purchases for MEC using best-in-industry practices.
• Identify and lead indirect purchases for focus that provide the greatest benefit to support the business.
• Establish and maintain a robust indirect procurement team for today and future needs.
• Identify critical suppliers and establish LTAs where it makes business sense.
• Establish best-in-class indirect procurement processes and ensure company-wide compliance.
• Ensure purchases undergo robust competition and negotiation.
• Balance risks and make decisions that best serve Marvin’s business interests.
• Collaborate with facilities, IT, production, and cross-functional teams for robust processes.
• Review and implement contracts management tools and other procurement enhancements.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director or VP of Procurement.
