The Marvin Group in Southern California near LAX seeks a Buyer II to manage complex supplier relationships supporting military manufacturing. You will monitor performance, negotiate terms, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet cost, quality, and on-time delivery targets.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in aerospace/defense procurement, DFAR/FAR familiarity, and strong negotiation/ERP skills. This is an on-site role with travel requirements and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on procurement experience for machined/fabricated components.
• Experience purchasing in Aerospace or Defense and understanding mechanical drawings.

Responsabilités

• Purchases materials, supplies and services at favorable terms.
• Qualifies vendors, evaluates bids, and negotiates prices/terms.
• Tracks purchases, monitors vendor quality, and maintains supplier data.
• May guide the work of junior buyers and lead a small team.
• Develops sourcing strategies in a team environment.
• Ensures on-time delivery and quality products.
