Job summary

First Quality is seeking a Buyer III for Nutek Disposables in McElhattan, PA to manage moderately complex procurement and supplier collaboration in a manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes cost savings, data-driven sourcing, SAP Ariba, and cross-functional teamwork across site locations, with travel as needed and opportunities for professional growth within our growing company.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Supply Chain or related field.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and knowledge of SAP Ariba, Celonis, QlikView.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with MRO parts/services.
• Effective written and verbal communication; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety practices and site policies.
• Source and partner with reliable suppliers; resolve delivery, payment, price, and quality issues.
• Verify requisitions; assist with creation of requisitions and e-Req summaries.
• Place purchase orders after approvals; manage substitutions while ensuring quality.
• Create RFI and RFQ documents; analyze data for supplier comparison.
• Award business as approved and travel to other FQ locations as needed.
• Act as super-user for procurement technologies; train and support site team.
