Job summary

First Quality is seeking an Indirect Procurement Buyer to manage sourcing and purchasing for a manufacturing environment in McElhattan, PA. The role emphasizes supplier collaboration, cost management, and process efficiency, with opportunities to lead RFIs/RFQs and drive continuous improvement.

The candidate should have a BA/BS in Supply Chain or related field and at least four years of manufacturing procurement experience, with strong MS Office skills and knowledge of SAP Ariba, Celonis and

Qualifications

BA/BS in Supply Chain or related field.
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of SAP Ariba, Celonis and QlikView.

Responsibilities

Perform moderately complex procurement duties and place purchase orders.
Partner with reliable suppliers to resolve delivery, price or quality issues.
Verify requisitions and assist with E-req summaries; prepare RFIs/RFQs and conduct analyses.
Support value creation opportunities and strategic supplier initiatives.
Travel to other First Quality locations as required.
