Job summary

Shiseido Americas is seeking a seasoned procurement professional to manage indirect procurement across Transportation and Corporate Services. You will oversee the regional spend of approximately $60MM, lead category segmentation, and drive strategy development and negotiations with suppliers.

You will execute cost-savings programs, support supplier partnerships, and monitor KPIs to improve procurement effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of procurement category management.
• Understanding of Supply Chain functions and their linkage.
• Knowledge of cosmetic industry brands and products.
• Understanding of payment terms and total cost of ownership.
• Awareness of supplier audit requirements for quality and health.
• Ability to model material costs.
• Basic grasp of commodity markets driving pricing.
• Results-driven and detail-oriented.
• Collaborative with customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead category segmentation and develop strategies for materials.
• Manage RFX, negotiate supplier agreements.
• Execute category strategies and award decisions.
• Drive annual cost savings and cash improvement initiatives.
• Support supplier partnerships and KPI monitoring.
• Identify innovative supplier options and materials.
• Forecast price movements and communicate adjustments to planning.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on processes and tools.
• Support cost of goods savings targets and term improvements.
• Maintain strategic supplier relationships and supplier consolidation.
