Job summary

Shiseido Americas is seeking a senior procurement professional to manage indirect procurement, overseeing Transportation & Corporate Services across Shiseido Americas. You will drive regional spend (~$60MM), lead category segmentation, and develop supplier strategies while maintaining low total costs and high quality.

The role requires a background in procurement tools (SAP/Ariba), 4-year degrees (MBA a plus), and 5–7 years in cosmetics or consumer goods procurement.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of procurement category management.
• Understanding of supply chain functions and linkage.
• Understanding the cosmetic industry, brands and products.
• Understanding payment terms and total cost of ownership.
• Experience with supplier audits.
• 4-year academic degree; MBA a plus.
• 5–7 years’ experience in procurement in cosmetics/consumer goods.

Responsibilities

• Lead category segmentation and develop strategies for materials.
• Assist with RFX efforts and negotiate supply agreements.
• Execute procurement strategies and governance.
• Negotiate and award business.
• Drive annual cost savings and cash improvements.
