Job summary

You will facilitate war rooms, enforce runbooks, and provide executive-ready communications during major events.

Responsibilities include running tabletop exercises, mentoring staff, and ensuring documentation for audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, business or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years in incident management, incident response, or related IT roles including leadership of major incidents.
• Strong ITIL knowledge and governance of runbooks, escalation models and communications.
• Proficient with incident management tools and ITSM platforms supporting executive reporting.
• Excellent problem-solving, written and verbal communication; able to brief senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead major incident war rooms and track actions to closure.
• Enforce incident playbooks, escalation matrices, and communication templates.
• Coordinate with infra, app, identity, cloud, network; engage with SOC/Cyber IR as needed.
• Produce leadership updates and executive briefings translating impact into business terms.
• Run readiness drills and ensure on-call readiness across shifts/teams.
• Mentor coordinators and junior staff on escalation and analysis techniques.
• Maintain timelines and audit trails to meet compliance requirements.
