Job summary

Heartland Business Systems, LLC is seeking an experienced security professional to lead Incident Response engagements and advise on security solutions for our Midwest client base. You will manage IR cases from start to finish, perform forensic analysis, log reviews, malware analysis, evidence collection, and serve as a Virtual Security Engineer (vSE) for customers.

You will also identify new technical offerings and coordinate with the Practice Manager.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related IT experience.
• 3+ years of AD and Azure experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Incident Response cases from beginning to end, providing consulting and remediation efforts.
• Perform forensic analysis to identify artifacts for evidence of incident activity.
• Serve as a Virtual Security Engineer (vSE) for customers.
• Advise on and deploy security technical solutions; conduct security assessments (technical & social engineering).
• Develop new cybersecurity offerings with the Practice Manager.
