Heartland Business Systems, LLC. is seeking an experienced security professional to provide Incident Response services and advisory security offerings for a diverse client base.

The role includes leading IR engagements, performing forensic analysis, and acting as a Virtual Security Engineer (vSE) for customers, while collaborating with the Practice Manager to develop new cybersecurity offerings. Qualifications

• 8+ years of related IT experience.
• 3+ years of AD and Azure experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Maintain an outcome focused mindset and strong prioritization skills.
• Team player with professional attitude and respectful demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Lead Incident Response cases from start to finish with consulting and remediation.
• Perform forensic analysis to identify artifacts for evidence in investigations.
• Serve as a Virtual Security Engineer (vSE) for customers.
• Advise on and deploy security solutions; conduct internal and external security assessments.
• Educate sales and fellow engineers on products, provide design assistance and optimization.
• Participate in cross-training and mentoring of staff.
• Support 24x7 IR services through on-call rotations.
• Meet annual billable hour goals as defined by HBS.
