Job summary

Heartland Business Systems, LLC is seeking an experienced security professional to lead Incident Response engagements and perform forensic analysis for clients. You will also advise on and deploy security solutions, and act as a Virtual Security Engineer (vSE) for customers.

The role includes collaborating with sales and engineering teams, delivering security assessments and ongoing security posture improvement, and contributing to the development of new cybersecurity offerings.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related IT experience.
• 3+ years of AD and Azure experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Incident Response cases from beginning to end, providing consulting and remediation efforts.
• Perform forensic analysis to identify systems artifacts which can be used as evidence of the 'who, what, when, where, and how' during cybersecurity incident response activities or digital investigations.
• Serve as a Virtual Security Engineer (vSE) for customers.
• Provide design assistance, review, validation, and optimization of security technologies and solutions.
