Job summary

Koniag IT Systems, LLC seeks a Senior Network Engineer T4 to support our government client in Washington, DC. The role requires ability to obtain a Public Trust and deliver expert-level network design, deployment, and operations across on-prem and cloud environments.

You will work under the Network Engineer T4 Lead, handle advanced multi-domain incidents, contribute to ITIL-based change management, and participate in 24x7 NOC coverage with on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–8 years of hands-on enterprise network engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience in a Federal or private-sector enterprise environment of comparable scale, complexity, and security posture.
• Proven ability to independently resolve complex, cross-domain network problems at the enterprise level.
• Experience supporting hybrid on-premises and cloud network environments.
• Experience executing enterprise network changes in accordance with formal change management processes.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 4 network engineering support across CLIENT's enterprise environment, including LAN/WAN, routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, and network security fabric
• Independently diagnose and resolve complex, cross-domain network incidents and problems without requiring escalation to government personnel
• Execute enterprise network changes and integrations in accordance with ITIL 4 change management practices
• Support the Network Engineer T4 (Lead) in planning and executing complex network projects and integrations
• Contribute to 24x7 NOC operations through on-call availability and documented escalation procedures
