Job summary

Perceptive Inc. in Needham, MA is seeking a Senior Associate Scientist to support validation and execution of imaging studies in preclinical oncology models, including CDx and PDx platforms with PET/SPECT, CT, MRI and Bioluminescence Imaging.

You will oversee animal care operations, manage procurement, ensure SOP adherence, supervise in vivo tasks, monitor animal health with the AV, and maintain rigorous data records and QC for study completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years or MS with 3+ years in Biology or Animal Science.
• In vivo preclinical imaging experience and animal model work.
• Ability to mentor staff and manage SOPs/protocols.

Responsibilities

• Aid in management of the Animal Care Facility (ACF).
• Order animals and supplies.
• Maintain sanitization and equipment; follow SOPs.
• Lead in vivo tasks and schedule protocol execution.
• Assess animal health and communicate with Attending Veterinarian.
• Document lab notes and perform data quality control.
• Ensure IACUC compliance.
