Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a training-focused professional to design, develop, and execute comprehensive training for mission-support operators and engineers across multiple vehicle programs. You will lead targeted training initiatives, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and manage simulator-based rehearsals to ensure effective mission support and safety.

The role requires travel for training activities (<10/year), strong facilitation and documentation skills, and a proactive, self-motivated approach within a space-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Strong facilitation and communication skills to lead technical training and debriefs.
• Experience writing training course materials (lesson objectives, plans, evaluation criteria, hands-on activities).
• Ability to travel to support training activities as needed (typically <10 per year).
• Self-starter with coordination skills for multiple simultaneous tasks.
• Proven track record of working with multi-disciplinary teams and building relationships.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute training for ops controllers, engineering support, AI&T, launch services operators, and payload customers.
• Lead specific training areas or initiatives and report to senior staff.
• Collaborate with engineers across flight vehicle systems and ground software to ensure relevant training.
• Run simulators and training assets for hands-on practice and rehearsals.
• Define requirements and support development of future training simulators and assets.
• Evaluate operator proficiency and maintain training records.
