Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a qualified training designer to develop and execute training for flight operations, engineers, AI&T, and payload customers across In-Space System vehicles. The role emphasizes hands-on practice, simulator use, and scalable training infrastructure.

You will collaborate with engineers and ground teams to tailor content for mission support, lead initiatives, and maintain records of training completion, with on-call and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering, education, or equivalent.
• 5 years in developing and executing training for mission support operators and engineers in a space/military/government environment.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills to lead technical training and debriefs; experience writing training course materials.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute training for ops controllers, engineering support, AI&T, launch services operators, and payload customers for all vehicles within the In- Space System program.
• Lead specific training areas or initiatives and take direction from senior staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure training relevance and mission support.
• Run the simulator and training assets for hands-on practice and rehearsals.
• Define requirements and support development of future training simulators and assets.
• Evaluate operator proficiency and currency; develop ad hoc and contingency training.
• Maintain accurate records of operator training completion.
