Job summary

Burrow Global, LLC is seeking twoInstrumentation Engineers for a long-term in-plant assignment at a petrochemical plant in Deer Park, TX. You will design, implement, commission, and maintain instrumentation systems ensuring safe, reliable plant operation in line with industry standards and company procedures.

The role entails leading instrument design deliverables, developing control philosophies, and supporting FAT/SAT, commissioning, and startup activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation engineering.
• 7+ years of instrumentation and control experience in petrochemical/oil & gas/refining.
• Active TWIC card. Experience with capital projects, plant commissioning, or operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, specify, and select instrumentation and control hardware for petrochemical processes.
• Develop and maintain process control philosophies and instrument standards.
• Create instrument specifications, datasheets, loop diagrams, cable schedules, and calibration procedures.
• Lead instrument design deliverables for new plants, debottlenecks, revamps, and FEL/detail design phases.
• Develop FAT/SAT and commissioning plans, and startup assistance for instrumentation systems.
• Configure PLC/DCS systems and implement instrumentation calibration and maintenance strategies.
• Maintain as-built documentation and participate in risk assessments and MOC.
