Job Title: Instrumentation Engineer

Insight Global is seeking an Instrumentation Engineer for an EPC client in Houston, TX. This role supports various projects, focusing on instrumentation and controls aspects, including preparing and reviewing P&IDs, PFDs, and operation philosophies.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing instrument data sheets and participating in bid evaluations for equipment, materials, and subcontracts.
• Supporting the design team with layouts, panel drawings, and plot diagrams for instrumentation and control systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
• 10+ years experience with instrumentation and controls
• Experience with oil and gas pipeline facilities
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards such as NMEA, API, AGA, ANSI

Preferred:

• PE license (preferably outside of Texas)
• NCES records validation
• Experience with SCADA systems

Additional details:

Salary range: $130,000 - $170,000 per year. This is a full-time, mid-senior level position in the Oil and Gas industry. Benefits may include medical and vision insurance, and a 401(k).
