Job summary

C&I Engineering is seeking a Senior Instrumentation Engineer to join our Power & Controls team. The role involves designing instrumentation and control systems for oil & gas, petrochemical, food & beverage, and related facilities, and coordinating with process, mechanical, electrical, and piping teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree with 8+ years of related experience.
• TWIC and background checks are required.
• Ability to travel domestically or internationally up to 10–20%.
• Professional Engineer license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop instrumentation and control systems for oil & gas, petrochemical, and other industrial facilities.
• Perform instrument-engineering calculations including valve sizing and flow-element sizing.
• Prepare complete instrumentation design packages with specs, datasheets, calculations and drawings.
• Coordinate instrumentation scope with other engineering disciplines for integrated execution.
• Interface with clients to obtain technical information and resolve design issues.
