Job OverviewA law firm seeks a talented Complex Litigation and Product Liability Attorney with 5-7 years of experience to join their litigation team in Los Angeles, CA. This role involves representing corporate clients in sophisticated product liability, mass tort, and complex commercial litigation matters.

Duties

• Represent clients in complex litigation and product liability defense in state and federal courts.
• Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Draft and argue substantive motions, including dispositive and discovery motions.
• Develop litigation strategy in collaboration with clients, partners, and expert witnesses.
• Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial testimony.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, briefs, and client communications.
• Collaborate with attorneys on national and regional litigation matters.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in complex litigation, product liability defense, or related civil defense matters.
• Active membership in the California Bar.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience drafting motions, managing discovery, and taking or defending depositions.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Trial and courtroom experience is a plus.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
