Job summary

Form Energy, based in Somerville, MA, seeks an experienced in‑house attorney to lead commercial contracting and transactional work as the company scales its energy storage efforts. You will partner with the Commercial Operations team, outside counsel, and internal stakeholders to draft, negotiate, and close a broad array of contracts in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of relevant experience as a transactional lawyer.
• JD from an accredited law school and Bar in good standing.
• Ability to manage complex commercial contracts and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial projects from origination to long‑term operations, coordinating with outside counsel and internal teams.
• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of contracts (NDAs, MOUs, supply agreements, MSAs, EPCs, warranties).
• Drive contract execution with cross‑functional input and approvals.
• Help scale legal processes, policies, and templates for a fast‑growing business.
• Advise on grants, incentives, and tax credit matters with Finance and Tax teams.
• Draft and maintain intercompany agreements and manage project entity governance.
