Job summary

Early Warning Services is seeking an experienced contracts attorney to draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements for domestic and international use. You will collaborate with privacy, security, compliance, and risk teams to support contract governance and business objectives.

The role requires a JD and at least eight years in transactional law, with strong negotiation and written/verbal communication skills. Hybrid work available in Scottsdale and other major cities.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; admission to Arizona or other State bar.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of transactional legal experience, preferably in-house.
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills, solid business judgment and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proven ability to define legal issues and legal risks.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to build partnerships at all levels.
• Highly effective working in a team environment and organized prioritization.
• Experience with contract management processes and CLM tools (e.g. Agiloft, Salesforce, Coupa).
• Unyielding commitment to professional ethics and licensing maintenance.
• Background and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Drafts, reviews, and negotiates a wide range of commercial contracts for domestic and international use cases.
• Advise business teams on contract matters within U.S. and international regulatory frameworks.
• Prepare and maintain contract templates and custom agreements; support policies/playbooks.
• Collaborate with privacy, security, compliance, risk management, and other legal partners.
• Supervise contract management staff as needed and coordinate with outside counsel when required.
