Job summary

Outpost is building the backbone of freight in the United States. We are seeking an Implementation Manager to own end-to-end site deployments, coordinating installers, hardware deliveries, and client communications across multiple sites.

You will drive installation quality, partner with IT and engineering, and scale the deployment playbook as the business grows. Travel ~30% is expected to meet client needs nationwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading physical technology deployments, site implementations, or field infrastructure rollouts.
• Hands-on expertise in install project management and install quality control on commercial-grade builds.
• Track record managing concurrent multi-site deployments with live customer commitments.
• Experience coordinating field technicians, IT/network engineers, third-party vendors, and client stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of network architecture to partner with IT/sysadmin teams.
• Willingness to travel ~30% to client and Outpost sites across the U.S.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the Implementation Team in delivering customer deployments from contract through go-live.
• Coordinate project schedules, hardware deliveries, subcontractors, and customer communications to keep implementations on track.
• Track milestones, identify risks early, and drive issues to resolution across internal teams and external partners.
• Travel to customer sites as needed to support deployments, installations, commissioning, and go-live activities.
• Assist with scheduling installers and field technicians across active deployments.
• Maintain implementation documentation and contribute to improving playbooks and SOPs.
