Job summary

State Street seeks an Implementation Functional Test Lead in Massachusetts to own end-to-end test execution for a defined Alpha implementation. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technology, finance, management, or related discipline.
• Extensive experience in functional testing for financial services or technology transformations.
• Proven leadership of testing workstreams with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Implementation Test Manager to manage all test execution for an assigned function.
• Own function-level test delivery including strategy, planning, and scheduling.
• Oversee day-to-day test execution, defect management, triage, and resolution tracking.
• Produce status reports, identify risks, and escalate issues as needed.
• Govern defect SLAs, aging, leakage, and reopen rates across test phases.
• Guide testers (FTEs and vendors) and ensure alignment with test strategy.
