Tr1X seeks a Senior Scientist, In vivo Immunology – Targeted LNP Delivery to lead design and evaluation of tLNP formulations for the CAR-Treg platform. Reporting to the Executive Director of Biology, you will drive in vitro and in vivo proof-of-concept studies and define immunological targeting criteria for precise nucleic acid delivery.

This hands-on role requires deep expertise in T cell and Treg biology, experience with LNPs in immune cells, and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience applying targeted lipid nanoparticles (tLNPs) for cell-specific delivery to immune cells.
• Strong understanding of immunology, including lymphocyte biology and in vivo disease models.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Partner with formulation and chemistry on design and optimization of tLNP formulations for mRNA payloads.
• Design and execute in vitro and in vivo studies, including humanized models, to evaluate targeting and biodistribution.
• Apply multiparameter flow cytometry to characterize tLNP uptake and downstream readouts.
• Develop analytical methods to support formulation research (e.g., DLS, encapsulation).
• Interpret data to relate formulation attributes to biological performance.
• Collaborate with platform biology and in vivo pharmacology to advance candidates from discovery through early development.
